Browsers

Internet Explorer 6.0 sp2

  1. In Internet Explorer go to the Tools menu
  2. Select Popup Blocker
  3. Click on Turn Off Pop-up Blocker

and if that dont work, please pressthe "CTRL" control button and see if that by passes the popup blocker, if not try to goto internet options and under the advanced tab please uncheck under "browsing" enable third party browser extesions (requires restart) that means the browser not the computer, close down all IE windows and see if that helps. it should.

Internet Explorer 7 RC1

  1. Go to Tools in Internet Explorer 7, then click on Internet Options.
  2. Go to Security tab.
  3. Select the Trusted sites zone.
  4. Click on Sites on launch the panel to manage trusted sites.
  5. Key in the specific site that you want to trust and allow all pop-ups including script-generated input dialog boxes to the text box for “Add this site to the zone”. If you’re viewing the website that you want to trust, the URL link location will be shown automatically.
  6. Click Add when done. Note that if the website is not encryted with SSL, you need to unclick (unselect) “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone” before you can Add the normal http: websites.
  7. The website should listed on the middle box Website listing.
  8. Click Close and then OK to exit.

Firefox 1.5

  1. Start Firefox
  2. Click Tools then Options
  3. Click the Allowed Sites button
  4. Enter phoenixlabs.org into the box
  5. Click Allow
  6. Enter phoenixlabs.org into the box
  7. Click Allow
  8. Click Ok

Firefox 1.5 mac

Mac users open Firefox and go to Firefox | Preferences | Web Features.

  1. Check Block Popup Windows if you would like to all popups.
  2. Click on Allowed Sites to allow popups from specified websites.
    1. Enter the URL of the site you want to allow popups from and click Allow.
    2. If you wish to remove a site from your allowed list, highlight it and click Remove Site. Clicking Remove All Sites will clear your allowed sites list.


Firefox 2.0 beta 1

  1. Start Firefox
  2. Click Tools then Options
  3. Click the Allowed Sites button
  4. Enter phoenixlabs.org into the box
  5. Click Allow
  6. Enter phoenixlabs.org into the box
  7. Click Allow
  8. Click Ok

Mozilla 1.4+

The Mozilla browser includes a pop-up blocker that by default blocks all pop-ups, and therefore blocks Justis.com. Netscape 7.1 is a re-badged version of Mozilla 1.4, and Netscape 7.2 is a re-badged version of Mozilla 1.7. All of these browsers enable you to stop blocking cookies from specific websites. Just go to any page on the phoenixlabs.org website and:

  1. Select the “Tools” menu
  2. Select “Popup Manager”
  3. Select “Allow Popups From This Site”

  1. Start Mozilla
  2. Visit phoenixlabs.org
  3. Click Tools
  4. Hover over Pop-Up Manager
  5. Click Allow Pop-Ups From This Site
  6. Follow the above for www.sitewizard.co.uk

Netscape 7.x

The Mozilla browser includes a pop-up blocker that by default blocks all pop-ups, and therefore blocks Justis.com. Netscape 7.1 is a re-badged version of Mozilla 1.4, and Netscape 7.2 is a re-badged version of Mozilla 1.7. All of these browsers enable you to stop blocking cookies from specific websites.   1. Select the “Tools” menu
  2. Select “Popup Manager”

Netscape 8.x

  1. Click the “Advanced” tab
  2. Click to select the “Internet Explorer” rendering engine
  3. Click to place a tick against “Allow unrequested pop-up windows” [This setting is required in order to allow linking from Phoenix Labs site]
  4. Click to remove the tick against “Open requested pop-ups in new tab”
  5. Click “Done” to close the Site Controls


Mozilla 1.4+

The Mozilla browser includes a pop-up blocker that by default blocks all pop-ups, and therefore blocks Justis.com. Netscape 7.1 is a re-badged version of Mozilla 1.4, and Netscape 7.2 is a re-badged version of Firefox.

Opera 7.5 - 8.0

  1. Select the “Tools” menu
  2. Select “Preferences…”
  3. In the Preferences dialog box, select “Windows”
  4. Click the black down arrow opposite “Pop-ups”
  5. Select “Open all pop-ups”
  6. Click the “Apply” button
  7. Click the “OK” button to close the Preferences dialog box

Note that in the same section of Preferences, “Window handling” must be set to “Prefer separate windows” for the Justis.com database window to function correctly. From now on, you will be able to use phoenixlabs.org as normal. The pop-up settings can also be changed in the Quick Preferences menu that appears when you press the F12 key. Note that Opera 7 is by default set to identify itself as MSIE 6.0, and this is the proper setting if you want to use phoenixlabs.org.

In the Mac OS X version of Opera, the Preferences can be found on the Opera menu, not the Tools menu.

Safari

  1. Select the “Safari” menu
  2. Click “Block Pop-Up Windows” to remove the tick

AOL

  1. Go to AOL Keyword: Pop-up Preferences.
  2. Select Allow Web Pop-Ups From These Sites.
  3. Type phoenixlabs.org and click Add.
  4. Type phoenixlabs.org and click Add.
  5. Click Save.

ToolBars

Yahoo Toolbar

  1. Click the Pop-Up Blocker menu.
  2. Select "Enable Pop-Up Blocker."
  3. If the checkmark was present, Pop-Up Blocker is now off. If the checkmark was not present, Pop-Up blocker is now enabled.

Google Toolbar

1. While on the page where you want to be able to access popups, click (the pop-up button).

  • Confirm that the button label has now changed to Google sites allowed button
  • Try reopening the link to confirm that it can be displayed.

2. Turn off the Google pop-up blocker for all pages.

  • Click to open the Toolbar options dialog box.
  • From the Navigation section of the "Browsing" tab, de-select the "Pop-up Blocker" checkbox.
  • Click OK to close the dialog box.
  • Try reprinting the report to confirm that the pop-up blocker has been disabled. Tip: If the pop-up blocker is disabled, the toolar button will be grayed out.

AOL Toolbar

  1. Click on the AOL icon and select Settings
  2. Deselect Popup Blocker
  3. Click OK.

Starware Pop-Up Blocker

  1. To turn off the Starware pop-up blocker, click on the Starware Logo
  2. Select Preferences
  3. Deselect Enable Popup Blocker
  4. Click OK.

Viewpoint Pop-Up Blocker

  1. To turn off the Viewpoint pop-up blocker, click on the Viewpoint Logo
  2. Select Options Menu
  3. Click on the Pop-Ups tab
  4. Deselect Enable Pop-up Blocker
  5. Click OK.

Earthlink

  1. Visit phoenixlabs.org
  2. Click on the Pop-Up Blocker menu on the Internet Explorer Toolbar, and choose Always ALLOW pop-ups for this Web site.
  3. Visit phoenixlabs.org
  4. Click the Pop-Up Blocker menu on the Internet Explorer Toolbar, and choose Always ALLOW pop-ups for this Web site.

Third Party Programs

Norton Internet Security 2003

  1. Open Norton Internet Security,
  2. Click Options, select Norton Internet Security.
  3. Click on Web Contents tab and click Add Site.
  4. Type in phoenixlabs.org (remove www.) and click OK.
  5. While site is highlighted, click the User Setting tab. Deselect the Block Popup Ad option.
  6. Click Add Site again and repeat this process with phoenixlabs.org
  7. Click OK.

Norton Internet Security 2004

  1. Open Norton Internet Security, select Status & Settings, select Ad Blocking option and click on Configure, then Advanced, then Add Site.
  2. Type in phoenixlabs.org (remove www.) and click OK.
  3. While site is highlighted, click the User Setting tab. Deselect the Block Popup Ad option.
  4. Click Add Site again repeat this process with phoenixlabs.org
  5. Click OK.

Norton Internet Security 2005

  1. Click the yellow Norton Internet Security Icon on your browser toolbar
  2. If Block popups on this site is checked, un-check it.
  3. If asked "Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page?" please click Ok.

Norton Internet Security 2006

Go to phoenixlabs.org).

  1. Find the Norton Internet Security toolbar in Internet Explorer
  2. Click the Norton icon and untick 'Block popups on this site'.

Zone Alarm Pro

  1. Open Zone Alarm, click on the Privacy menu, click on Site List tab.
  2. Click Add a New Site.

Type in phoenixlabs.org and click OK

  1. Go to Options.
  2. Click the Ad-Block tab.
  3. Uncheck Pop-up/Pop-under
  4. Click Apply
  5. Click the Cookies tab
  6. Uncheck Session Cookies
  7. Click OK
  8. Click Add a New Site again and repeat the process with www.sitewizard.co.uk.
  9. Click OK.

MSN Pop-Up Blocker

  1. To turn off the MSN pop-up blocker, click on Options on the MSN toolbar,
  2. Deselect Pop-up Guard and
  3. Click OK.
